The new kid on the block, Sushi Note is here making serious noise.  Returning to the scene after closing the beloved 4 on 6 in Encino, Chef Saito is once again delivering one of the best Omakase meals that money can buy. 

Sushi Note superficially gleams with Chef Saito’s passion for Jazz music, heard by the subtle tunes in the air.  It is the intensely personal décor on the walls however that truly sets the stage for what is nothing less than absolute passion in service at Sushi Note. 

Enjoying the a-la-carte selection will leave you satisfied, but taking one of the seven seats at the bar and ordering the “Whole Note” Omakase will prove to be nothing short of superb.  With fish delivered over night and picked up twice a week, Chef Saito serves a truly season selection of courses, each round surpassing the last. The cured Japanese Mackerel and Bonito sprinkled with Shiso flower brought out flavor that cannot be experienced except at the hands of this master chef.

Take your time at Sushi Note… Read the post cards on the wall, let the sommelier bring you a taste of wine and make sure to learn about what you are being served.
