Little Tokyo

No reservations with limited seating?  Usually the kind of place I like to be. 

Hama is what makes Little Tokyo in Downtown LA such a great area.  I seem to be time warped to my travels in Japan every time I pass through the wood swinging doors. I consider Hama the definition of a Sushi Restaurant… the version that makes people head over heels for the delicacy.

Does it serve a variety of fresh high-quality fish? Yes. Is your sushi fix satisfied when you leave? To the highest degree. Do you feel like you are in a dream that creates a nostalgic sensory overload?  Maybe you should start meditating...

I don’t always go to Little Tokyo, but when I do, I eat at Hama. 

Overall: A more under the radar Sushi staple.  If you are a sushi purist, you will love it here.  (Quality: Good – Variety: Average – Value: Highest – Vibe: Good)
